It is usually a static snapshot: a golden anniversary, a couple holding hands on a porch swing, a conflict-free existence filled with endless understanding and romance. We are fed the narrative that if we just find "The One," the rest is a downhill glide into eternal happiness. But here is the uncomfortable, liberating truth: The
